Welcome to Ozark, an Arkansas River city; population 3,525, nestled within one of the most attractive areas of the Natural State. We invite you to leave the rush of the interstate highway and relax in a world
of charming small-town living surrounded by unspoiled mountains, rivers, forests and lakes.
At the town square you will find the center of our friendly community. Busi nesses dress their windows for local activity and tourist trade. You can enjoy great meals at our many restaurants. Wander down the
newly completed sidewalks, with Crape Myrtle shrubs in bloom all summer and through the fall, visiting our many antique and gift shops. Bargains Galore on 64 promises
hidden treasures at every stop. Relax in our lovely Pocket Park across from the courthouse. Discover murals tucked away around the city. You can find most anything you are
looking for in Ozark, except the stress levels of city living. Evening brings on the lights of the City. New period lights
dress the streets and our bridge glows with lights up and over the arch and reflecting on the Arkansas River below
The Arkansas River brings adventure and fun. At Ozark Lake, fishing is a year-round activity. Tree-shaded "Aux Arc" Park stretches along the river from the Lock and Dam and delivers
a whopping portion of outdoor fun. The beautiful, immaculate park has a playground, campsites, boat launching ramps, facilities and gorgeous views of the Arkansas River. A
majority of the park's 60 RV hookups back up to the water. The Lock and Dam has sightseeing tours and, if you arrive at the right time, you might get to see an ocean-going vessel being lifted through the Lock.
