Ozark Public Schools
1573 students are enrolled in
grades Kindergarten through 12, with 341 in senior high, 368 in junior high, 491 in lower elementary, and 373 in upper elementary. The drop out rate is one of the lowest in the State. Many students go on
to colleges and universities, such as nearby University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, or the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus
Accredited by the North Central Association, Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus provides technical training to its students from Ozark and the surrounding areas.
The school year is divided into two 16-week semesters and two 5-week summer terms. Programs range in length from two semesters and one summer t erm to three semesters and two summer terms. Short-term extension classes for persons who need refresher courses or who want
to update their skills are also offered.
The programs include: Accounting, Secretarial, Word/Information Processing, Business Data Processing, Practical Nursing, Automotive Service Technology, Electronic Technology,
Automated Maintenance Technology, Digital Electronic Technology, Food Lab Technology, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Auto Body Repair & Painting,
Cosmetology, and Welding. A General Adult Education course is also available to prepare students for the General Education Development (GED) test.
There are active chapters of Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA), Phi Beta Lambda national business students organization, and the Arkansas Licensed Practical
Nursing Association (ALPNA).

Cass Civilian Conservation Center
Cass Job Corps is a federally funded training program for young adults, 16 to 24 years
of age that meet certain criteria. Cass offers GED’s and high school diploma programs and accredited vocational training in nine occupations
