Ozark has an active theatre group, the Foothills Little Theatre, which presents plays throughout the year. The playbill is varied, with something of interest for everyone in the
community. Recent productions include Pirates of Penzance, Wizard of Oz, Oliver, Arsenic and Old Lace, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and The Odd Couple.
The Bend of the River Arts Council, whose purpose is “to develop, encourage, and support artistic expression and cultural development in the community,” has sponsored several
artistic events, art classes and a classical program with a great tenor.
